Project Overview

Jeff, a senior resident advisor (RA), guides learners through the basics of roommate mediation in this course. With Jeff as an example and source of advice, learners help roommates experiencing conflict as they navigate solutions. Check out the Conflict Analyzer tool for some spytech cutscenes as you take a look inside Room 265! Additional opportunities to get involved include:

• Scenario-based interactions where the learner mediates conflict as the RA by choosing the best response via drag-and-drops

• The Conflict Analyzer Tool reveals photo hints with changing states and layers to help identify the root causes of roommate conflict

• A click-to-reveal interaction focused on key aspects of active listening

• A neutrality meter that tracks Jeff’s progress remaining neutral in response to scenario-based interactions
